Bespoke jewellery

Since each piece of jewellery is made by hand, it is often just as easy to create an item tailor-made to your requirements.

Reasons to go bespoke:

- I like one of the necklaces but would prefer it to be a different length or in another stone combination.

- I need a necklace to match a new outfit.

- I want to buy a present for someone using their birth stone.

- I would like to buy a wedding anniversary present.

- I have some old beads that I would like to re-thread in a more contemporary style.

1. How long should I allow?

A minimum of two weeks is required for a mail order. If you were to visit the gallery and I had the relevant stones in stock, the turnaround could be just a few days. In situations where suitable stones take a while to source, please allow a month.

2. Will an item be more expensive than a similar piece that is ready-to wear?

Not necessarily. The price depends on the stones used and the time taken to make up the item. There is no premium added for the bespoke service.

3. What if the necklace doesn't turn out as I envisaged?

This rarely happens as photography does give a good impression of what it will look like. However, if you are not happy with it you may return it for possible alterations.

4. How much is postage?

£1.50 for items value up to £50

£6 for items over £50 or special delivery.

5. It is a gift and the recipient may wish to change it.

Although I would not give a refund for the jewellery, an exchange is no problem provided that the item is returned within a two month period in the condition in which it was sold. This does not affect your statutory rights.
